Get Unlimited Clients with this free Lead Generation Methods
In this blog, I’ll show you how to generate thousands of leads quickly, no matter your location or niche.
Whether you’re a freelancer, agency owner, or marketer looking for clients, this blog is for you.
I’ll share a free method to get unlimited leads and explain how you can automate the entire process using ChatGPT.
This information is not usually given for free in the industry, so let’s start with the basics.
So, what is a lead?
In simple terms, a lead in marketing refers to an individual or organization that has the potential to become a future customer.
For example, if you’re a blogger, anyone looking for SEO services for their website is a lead.
Similarly, a real estate owner seeking promotional services is an ideal lead, as are their friends and others in the same industry.
Essentially, anyone who might do business with you in the future is a potential lead.
Lead generation is the process of finding these potential clients for your business to sell your product or services.
In this lead generation process, we will create an Excel sheet to insert details such as First name, Business website, Business name, Company details, and Social media handles.
This way, we can easily reach out to them later.
Before starting the lead generation process identify which industry you targeting and what your ideal client looks like.
For example I’m looking for realtors in New York who might be interested in real estate, video editing services but you can do the same process for any industry for example dentist, hair saloon, restaurants or anything else.
Using Google Maps
The first free method we’ll use is Google Maps.
Go to Google Maps and search for realtors in New York.
You’ll see many results with their business websites and names.
Click on a result and visit the website to find details like the first name, last name, business name, social media handles, and email.
Repeat this step for all the websites.
I also suggest writing a compliment for each lead.
It can be about how their website looks or any genuine praise for their business.
This makes your outreach look personalized and not like a mass email.
Take your time and repeat this process as many times as you like, adding all the data to an Excel sheet.
I recommend building your lead list first and then reaching out to people to avoid back and forth, which can be time-consuming.
In about 2 hours, you can generate a good 50 to 100 leads. This process is highly effective but might take some time.
Generate Leads Using ChatGPT
So now let’s move on to the second free method in which we’ll use chat GPT and Google Search now to get started go to Google search and search for
site:instagram.com “realtors” “NewYork” “@gmail.com”
now if you hit enter this will generate a list of realtors in New York who have included their Gmail on the Instagram profile now what you can do is you can press ctrl C and press ctrl V which will copy the entire data which is available on that page and now go to chat GPT and open a new window and paste this data after that copy paste the Prompt
“Create the table and format the above data, and create the column for count, first name, last name, company name, company website, Instagram link, email”.
Once done chat GPT will go through all the data and clear out entries which are repeated and put the entire thing into a CSV file for you now all you have to do is copy this and paste it into Excel sheet.
Now you can do this process for all the websites and all the industries and locations for example you can be content writer who’s looking for entrepreneurs to work with you.
Now, you can repeat the entire process on other sites like Twitter or Facebook.
You can also choose different cities, countries, or states. When you search, you’ll get multiple pages of results.
Copy and paste all the data into ChatGPT and repeat the process.
In just 30 to 40 minutes, you can gather 500 to thousands of leads.
I’ve personally used both methods, and they have worked for me.
If you have a budget for lead generation and want to save time, you can use tools like ApolloAI or D7 Lead Finder, which can generate thousands of leads in just a few minutes.
Alternatively, you can hire someone on Fiverr to do lead generation for you for just $10 to $20.
Once you have your lead list ready, start sending emails or messages.
For better conversion, try to write personalized emails.
Add a compliment and their name, so it doesn’t look like you’ve sent the same email to thousands of people.
No one likes to feel ignored, so here’s the email I use, It starts with the person’s first name and a compliment.
Then, I ask a genuine question about their blog.
After that, I introduce myself and my business, followed by two lines about how I can help them.
I end the email with a call to action, so they can book a meeting right away.
If you’re just starting, you can send emails manually to each lead, but it might take some time.
Here’s how to automate the process using Lemlist. Keep in mind that Lemlist is a paid software, so if you have the budget and want to automate your email outreach, it’s worth checking out.
After sending initial emails, I like to add three or four follow-up emails because not everyone checks their emails regularly.
I usually follow up until I get a definite yes or no.
These follow-ups can be simple, such as “Did you get a chance to check my email?” or “Did you see this?” or “Would you be interested in this?”
I send the first follow-up after 2 days, the second after 4 days, and then another after 7 days. If necessary, you can also follow up after 14 days.
The goal is to send 500 to 2,000 emails every month.
Usually, after starting the campaign, I begin booking a lot of calls.
I use Calendly for discovery calls to generate unlimited leads and turn them into clients.
If you’re a freelancer without a budget for automation, you can do this manually as well.
Keep in mind that cold emailing has an average response rate of 8.5%, meaning only 1 to 5% of those who respond might become clients.
So, out of 100 emails, maybe 8 to 10 people will open them, and only one or two might convert if your offer is good.
Sometimes, the response can be even lower.
Before you start, make sure your offer is so appealing that people can’t say no.
Remember, keep trying and adjusting. What worked for me might not work for you, so it’s all about learning from your own experience.
